Experienced Tax Accountant Position

Prothro, Wilhelmi & Company, PLLC is seeking a tax accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Our firm has a strong tax practice that presents many challenges in a variety of areas related to corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits and individuals. We are seeking a person interested in expanding their expertise and developing their tax practice in a great environment. We are a firm that strongly emphasizes the use of technology in all areas, including electronic workpapers.

Minimum requirements for this position include:

• Certified Public Accountant
• 5 years public accounting experience specializing in tax compliance and research
• Strong people skills capable of managing a client relationship
• Commitment to developing client prospects
• Ability to develop topical training sessions and provide training to firm staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Other skills beneficial:

• Lacerte Tax return preparation software
• Adobe Acrobat
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• International tax experience
