Experienced Managerial Accountant Position

Prothro, Wilhelmi & Company, PLLC is seeking an experienced managerial accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Our firm offers a variety of accounting and reporting services to corporations, partnerships, trusts, non-profits and individuals. We are seeking a person interested in expanding their expertise in consulting and reporting with a strong emphasis in the use of technology.

Minimum requirements for this position include:

• 5 years of managerial level accounting experience
• Experience in financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in all aspects of payroll and payroll reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people skills capable of managing client relationships
• Commitment to developing client prospects
• Ability to develop topical training sessions and provide training to firm staff
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to details

Other skills beneficial:

• Certified Public Accountant
• QuickBooks Advisor Certification
• Consulting experience
• Understanding of GAAP and audit reporting
• Understanding of tax requirements for all types of entities
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
